The Great British Bake Off returned with Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond alongside judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, with the nation's most famous tent once again welcoming a set of enthusiastic bakers hoping to impress judges Paul and Prue.

 Winner Mr Bates Vs The Post Office, ITV1

The drama tells the story of one of the greatest miscarriages of justice in British legal history. Hundreds of innocent sub-postmasters and postmistresses were wrongly accused of theft, fraud, and false accounting due to a defective IT system. Many of the wronged workers were prosecuted, some were imprisoned for crimes they never committed, and their lives were irreparably damaged by the scandal.

Returning Drama

 Winner Doctor Who, BBC One

The Doctor and Ruby Sunday travel across time and space, with adventures all the way from the Regency era in England, to the war-torn future worlds. Throughout their adventures in the TARDIS they encounter incredible friends and dangerous foes, including the Doctor’s most powerful enemy yet.

Changing Ends is based on Alan’s own life in Northampton in the 1980s growing up as the son of a fourth division football manager. The second season picks up shortly after the first, as young Alan contends with impending puberty and feeling sidelined by his family.

 Winner The Traitors, BBC One

An intense psychological game in which players must decide who they can trust. In each episode, the players work together to complete spectacular physical and mental missions. If they are successful, they add money to a prize pot, which is worth up to £120,000. But to win the prize pot, players must survive to the end of the game – they must avoid being ‘murdered’ or ‘banished’.
