BIG BROTHER TONIGHT: SUNDAY 13th OCTOBER 2024
Here's a rundown of what to expect in tonight's episode of Big Brother, which continues on ITV2 and ITVX.
ANOTHER RULE BREAK IN THE HOUSE
Big Brother gathers the Housemates in the living room.
Big Brother says, “This is Big Brother. The rules regarding the discussion and speculation of nominations were clearly explained to all of you before you entered the house. Yesterday, those rules were broken again.”
“At 8:10pm, during a conversation between Nathan and Emma on the sofas, the following was said: Nathan, you said, ‘I would be highly surprised if anyone nominated you next week.’ Emma, you said, ‘Don’t know, really?’ Nathan, you replied, ‘Yeah, can’t see anybody.’”
“Then at 9:14pm in a conversation between Ali and Baked Potato also on the sofas, the following was said: Ali, ‘It’s so s*** that you guys are up, seriously, so shit cause you would not have been nomination. Not by anyone in here you would not have been nominated.’
Baked Potato, you then said, ‘I honestly, I know we’re not supposed to talk about nominations, but I don’t think we are.’ Ali, you said, ‘We’re not saying ‘Oh I would nominate this person.’’ Baked Potato, you replied, ‘I genuinely, I have no one, I have no one.’ Ali, you said, ‘You would not have been nominated.’”
“Nathan, Emma, Ali, Baked Potato stand up. Speculation around nominations is not allowed. You have all broken a fundamental rule of the Big Brother House. As Housemates continue to break the rules so frequently, Big Brother has no choice but to punish the whole house collectively…”
HEAD OF HOUSE CHALLENGE - MURDER ON THE DANCE FLOOR
The Housemates gather at the sofa.
Big Brother says, “Housemates, later today, you will all compete for one of you to become the first Head of House… being crowned The Head of House will grant a luxurious life and great power. The Head of House will sleep in a deluxe bed… and they will be immune from the next eviction.”
Later the same day, Big Brother gathers the Housemates in the Task Room for the Head of House competition.
Big Brother tells them, “You’re about to play Murder on the Dance Floor to become the first Head of House.”
Big Brother says he wants to see the Housemate’s best moves while the music plays, when the music stops only some of the circles on the floor will light up with only a certain number of Housemates allowed in each circle as dictated by the number on the circle. Housemates must get onto a circle before the other Housemates. Any Housemates that don’t make it onto a circle in time will be eliminated from the game and sent to the loser’s bench.
When all except two Housemates have been eliminated from the game, the Housemates are instructed to line-up behind the Housemate they would like to be Head of House.
In addition to being given their own private room, Big Brother throws the Head of House an exclusive party, with only the Housemates who chose them getting an invite.
Who will Housemates choose as the first Head of House and therefore be immune from the second eviction?
TENSIONS BUBBLE BETWEEN KHALED AND ALI
In the bathroom, Izaaz and Ali are discussing Khaled. Izaaz mentions to Ali that she may want to chat with him as he mentioned an interaction between him and Ali earlier in the evening. Ali decides to confront Khaled upstairs.
Ali says, “I heard you thought that we thought there was a vibe up here.”
Khaled responds, “It just seemed, like no one wanted to say hi, some people seemed emotional [trails off]…”
Ali says, “You know what it is Khaled… I think you’re a nice boy. But I find, sometimes the interactions I find false and I find that very, very difficult because then I don’t wanna engage with it because I don’t wanna play into, like I don’t wanna be fake with you. And I don’t wanna be shaking your hand and hugging you when inside I’m thinking I just don’t buy it.”
Ali continues by noting that Khaled seemed to lack empathy during the eviction by yawning and acting bored during what is quite a stressful situation for other Housemates.
Khaled responds, “I wasn’t the only one, but yes.”
Referring to an earlier conversation, Ali says, “There’s no need for these long speeches about how you wanna check in on us and make sure we’re okay. It’s not authentic...”
Ali says, “I don’t hate you; I don’t dislike you. All of the good things I’ve said about you are true, but I think some of your interactions are false.”
