BULLSEYE REBOOT 'SET FOR FULL SERIES' ON ITV AFTER RATINGS SUCCESS

ITV are set to commission a full series of classic gameshow Bullseye after the success of its Christmas special, consolidating to nearly 7 million viewers and becoming on of the most watched shows on ITV over the festive period.

Bullseye is one of the UK’s most successful and best loved family game shows which sees three teams compete for prizes. Each playing team is made up of an amateur dart player, known as the ‘thrower’, and their team partner, the ’knower’.

They will combine their skills, throwing darts at different game boards, whilst answering questions correctly for ‘points and prizes’. The Sun newspaper reports that after the positive reaction to the one-off special, the show is set to return.

The outlet suggests ITV are keen for teen darts sensation Luke Littler to join host Freddie Flintoff in the studio as a regular guest. A source told The Sun: "Luke will be getting deals thrown at him from all quarters, but ITV are confident that he’ll be tempted. This deal could turn him from being a darts star into a bona fide TV star."

Elsewhere, Disney+ and Freddie Flintoff have teamed up for an untitled Original documentary film (1x90’) with exclusive access to the former international cricketer and broadcast presenter, produced by South Shore.

The Disney+ Original documentary film will look back at Flintoff's incredible life and cricketing career that saw him win two Ashes series with England and become a national sporting hero, whilst charting his life today and return to cricket following his life-altering car crash in 2022.

Bullseye Christmas Special is available to stream now on ITVX and ITV's YouTube channel.
