BUYING LONDON AXED BY NETFLIX AFTER ONE SERIES

Netflix have axed UK property series Buying London after one series, Deadline have revealed. It comes months after reports from The Sun that bosses were eyeing up a second run.

In the series, Property mogul Daniel Daggers and team set out to conquer the super prime high-end real estate market from the prestigious streets of Mayfair to the exclusive enclaves of Holland Park as we follow the group as they navigate the intricacies of their personal lives as well as striving to make their mark in the glamorous world of luxury real estate.

A source previously told The Sun: "Buying London has all the right ingredients to be a hit and followed the Selling Sunset recipe for the letter - it had property porn, in-fighting, romance and drama plus a dusting of celebrity sparkle...

"It managed to make Netflix’s UK top ten twice, but otherwise it wasn’t a runaway ratings success. But it’s relatively cheap to make and bosses think it’s worth another lap of the block."
