BEAR GRYLLS TRAVELS TO UKRAINE FOR CHANNEL 4 DOCUMENTARY
A year on since the war began, Bear Grylls travels to Ukraine for a new hour-long Channel 4 programme, set to air in the coming weeks, to meet the country's president Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The documentary will follow Bear across three-days as he journeys deep into Ukraine, with the goal of meeting Ukraine's commander in chief in Kyiv, but before that he needs to get to the capital and in a country at war that is not so straightforward.
He travels to the old front line in the town of Irpin, just 10k from Kyiv. There he meets Oleksandr, a soldier who was a civilian before the war. Across this film he hears tales of heroism, survival and tragedy.
In this film Bear is not the survival expert; his role is to learn from other people, to see what they've been through. The film will air in the coming weeks on Channel 4.
