PILOTS FROM KYLA HARRIS AND LAURA SMYTH REPORTEDLY IN THE WORKS

British Comedy Guide have exclusively revealed two new comedy pilots which have recently been in production.

Firstly, Channel 4 is reportedly piloting a new autobiographical comedy, from Roughcut Productions, written by filmmaker and disability activist Kyla Harris.

Kyla stars in the pilot, with further cast including Sally Phillips, Darren Boyd, Elena Saurel and Aasiya Shah. Channel 4 declined to comment on the pilot. More details here.

Secondly, the BBC are reportedly piloting a new comedy written by and starring Laura Smyth, Laundrette (w/t). Wider cast includes Kate Robbins, Tori Allen-Martin and Eleaner Nawal.
