CHANNEL 5 BOOKS KYM MARSH AND RICHARD ARNOLD FOR THE WEEKEND TRAVEL SHOW

Channel 5 has commissioned The Weekend Travel Show from Athena Films. The eight-part travel magazine show will be presented by Kym Marsh and Richard Arnold with expert travel advice from journalist Simon Calder.

Over eight 90-minute episodes, The Weekend Travel Show will take viewers on a journey across the globe. Kym and Richard will guide viewers through a host of trips taken by celebrities including Jane McDonald, Susan Calman, Nick Knowles, Alex Polizzi, George and Larry Lamb, whilst sharing stories and experiences from their own travels along the way. 

They will be joined in the studio by renowned travel guru Simon Calder who will be on hand to answer travel-related questions. The series begins Saturday 11th January at 11:30am on Channel 5 and continues weekly.

The series will also feature a host of different experts in studio segments covering topics fromclassic holiday reads to the best travel and holiday gadgets. They will be sharing tips on how to pack effectively, beat luggage fees, hacks for getting the best value when booking your holidays and everything else from what to wear and what to read on holiday.
