OUR YORKSHIRE FARM ENDS ON CHANNEL 5 AS SPIN-OFF SERIES IS ANNOUNCED

Our Yorkshire Farm, which followed the life of Amanda & Clive Owen and their nine children on their remote farm in Yorkshire, will not be returning to Channel 5.

It follows the news earlier this year that Amanda and Clive had separated. Though Our Yorkshire Farm, which became a ratings hit with three million viewers watching some episodes, is not returning, Channel 5 have announced a spin-off.

Beyond Our Yorkshire Farm, which begins Tuesday 6th December on Channel 5, will follow Clive and Reuben on an exciting digging business venture together. Reuben is commissioned to dig a series of wilderness ponds in the village of Langwathby in Cumbria.

It's his biggest job to date, and to cope with the burgeoning workload Reuben recruits girlfriend Sarah and best friend Tom to help him. Later, Reuben wins a contract to haul huge oak beams for a friend's stone barn renovation.

Channel 5's Daniel Pearl said: "The Owens have become everyone’s favourite farming family and millions have enjoyed watching their unique way of life. It’s fantastic that we can now all follow Reuben and Clive on their next adventure...

He continued: "We remain absolutely committed to the whole wonderful Owen family and hope to announce new projects with Amanda very soon."

Our Yorkshire Farm is available on My5 now. Beyond Our Yorkshire Farm begins Tuesday 6th December at 9pm on Channel 5.
