CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER RETURNS WITH LARGEST AUDIENCE SINCE 2016

Celebrity Big Brother launched on ITV1 last night with a peak of 3.2 million viewers (average 2.8 million) across devices, its highest launch since 2016.



From 9pm-10:30pm last night ITV1 had more than double the audience of any other channel. The new series also secured the highest 16-34 audience of the night, with 463k and a 42.5% share across devices.



The celebrities will take up residence in the iconic Big Brother house - leaving luxury behind, they will take part in nominations and tough tasks with cameras capturing their every move. Who will win the hearts of the nation, go all the way to the finish line, and be crowned as the winner?


Celebrity Big Brother will be followed each night by Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live to give viewers an additional hour of exclusive content. The series will once again be hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best with weekly house guests including Layton Williams, Jordan North and Oti Mabuse.



Airing on ITV2 and ITVX, it will once again be the only place to watch the famous evictees’ first live interview alongside an array of unmissable exclusive features including access to the camera runs, special guest commentary and debate.


The Celebrity Big Brother: Live Stream will also return to screens, airing seven nights a week on ITVX and STV Player and giving fans the opportunity to watch live footage into the small hours after Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live.
