CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER TONIGHT: WEDNESDAY 9th APRIL, FULL EPISODE RUNDOWN

A new batch of VIPs embark on the original social experiment, taking up residence in the Big Brother house. Here's a full rundown for tonight's episode of Celebrity Big Brother on ITV1...

BIG BROTHER ISSUES MICKEY A WARNING

Mickey asks JoJo, “Where’s the smoke room? Where’s the cigarette room?”

Mickey then asks, “Do you like girls or boys?”

JoJo says, “Me? Girls. My partner is non-binary.”

Mickey says to JoJo, “If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore.”

JoJo says, “I can guarantee I’ll still be gay and I’ll still be in a very happy relationship.”

In the garden, Mickey asks Chris if everyone has to vote one another out of the house. Mickey says “I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick.”

JoJo overhears and says, “That’s homophobic, if that was your reasoning.”

Chris interjects, “You can’t do that Mickey.”

Mickey then says, “I need a fag.” And then gestures to JoJo and says, “I’m not talking to you.”

Chris says, “Mickey, you can’t say that.”

Mickey says, “I know. I was talking about a cigarette.” 

JoJo is left upset by the exchange and is comforted by Chris. 

Shortly after the exchange in the garden, Big Brother calls Mickey to the Diary Room. 

Big Brother says, “Mickey before you entered the Big Brother house the rules regarding unacceptable language and behaviour were explained to you.”

Big Brother then reads back the entire exchange to Mickey and then says, “Mickey, do you understand how this language could be offensive to your Housemates or the viewing public?”

Mickey says, “Yeah I think so. If I was saying it in a nasty kind of way or if I truly meant it.”

Big Brother says, “Mickey, Big Brother thinks your language was offensive and unacceptable.”

Mickey says, “Alright. I can understand that.”

Big Brother says, “As a result, Big Brother is giving you a formal warning. Further language or behaviour of this nature could lead to you being removed from the Big Brother house. Mickey, do you understand?”

Mickey says, “Yes I do. It’s some serious stuff.”

Big Brother says, “Mickey, is there anything you’d like to say?”

Mickey says, “I apologise. I don’t have dishonourable intentions - I’m just talking smack you know. I wasn’t taking it all so serious. I didn’t mean in it any bad intentions and if I did, sorry.” 

MICKEY TRIES TO MAKE AMENDS

Mickey returns from the Diary Room and says, “Boy, did I get chewed out.”

Trisha says, “I guess it’s not what you say. It’s how it lands.”

Mickey says, “I didn’t say it out of meanness.”

Chris says, “I understand you might have thought it would be uninsulting but it’s the way it’s perceived on other people. JoJo was very upset earlier, bless her.”

Mickey turns to JoJo and says, “You were? Sorry. Are we ok?”

JoJo says, “As a future, using the word f** is not an acceptable word.”

The rest of the Housemates discuss the situation with Mickey in an attempt to help him understand why his comments were offensive. 

Danny says, “I disagree with how it panned out from how you handled it but that also doesn’t mean I’m going to dig my feet in and ostracise you in the group I’d love you to see it from another point of view, I’d love you to be part of the group and I don’t want you to feel like you're not.”  

Mickey later speaks to JoJo and says, “I want to apologise. I’ve got a habit of having a short fuse. And I don’t mean nothing by it. I do mean it [sorry]. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t say it to you.”

JoJo says, “I appreciate your apology.” 

Later in the bedroom, Mickey is talking to JoJo about Danny and drag queens. 

JoJo says, “It’s beautiful to see how the drag community has elevated over the years.”

Mickey asks, “It’s ok to say drag?”

JoJo and Chris say, “Yeah - drag queens.” 

Mickey says, “It gets confusing.”

JoJo says, “Anything is ok to say in context and intention - that’s what matters. And if you say something wrong but you didn’t know and you’re open to hearing - all good!”

MICKEY AND JOJO USE THEIR POWERS AHEAD OF FRIDAY’S EVICTION

Mickey is speaking to Big Brother in the Diary Room who says, “Yesterday, you were lucky enough to enter my big prize room where you picked out prizes for the other Housemates and received a very specific power prize yourself. You claimed the Guardian Angel power which allows you to protect one Housemate from the first eviction. This means the Housemate you choose cannot be nominated for the first eviction and their place in the house is safe for the time being.”

Big Brother adds, “Mickey, the time has come for you to use your power….”

But who will Mickey choose?

Later, JoJo is in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother who says, “JoJo, yesterday you were lucky enough to visit my big prize room. You also received a very special power prize yourself. You claimed the killer nomination power which allows you to put one Housemate up to face the first eviction. It is now decision time.”

But who will JoJo choose?
