CELEBRITY COOKING SCHOOL AXED BY CHANNEL 4 AFTER TWO SERIES

Channel 4 have axed Celebrity Cooking School after two series on its digital channel E4, it has been revealed.

Each series saw a new cast of self-confessed oven-shy famous faces dropped in at the deep end to embark on a culinary course like no other, run by a seriously talented chef, who’ll taught stars the skills they need to conquer the kitchen and their foodie fears.

Working solo and matched in pairs, an intensive cookery crash course will have them sweating it out in the kitchen as they compete against their fellow celebs in a series of hilarious cooking challenges. But if they don’t impress, they’ll get an F for Fail and leave school for good.

A source told The Sun: "The crew were a bit surprised Channel 4 decided not to proceed with a third series...The show was a hit with fans and produced some really good TV moments filled with hilarious innuendos and attracted high-profile stars for E4."

The first series saw TV personality Kerry Katona, Love Island’s Toby Aromolaran, former pro footballer Stevo the Madman, presenter Sam Thompson, Made In Chelsea’s Maeva D’Ascanio, presenter Zeze Millz, First Dates star Laura Tott, musician Shaun Ryder, comedian Paul Chowdhry and cleaning queen Kim Woodburn enter the kitchen.

Celebrity Cooking School is available to stream now on Channel 4.
