CHANNEL 4 CONFIRM JANUARY LAUNCH SCHEDULE, NEW AND RETURNING PROGRAMMES

Channel 4 have confirmed its schedule for the first full week of January, with new and returning programmes launching all week.



THE GREAT POTTERY THROWDOWN

Sunday 5th January, 7:45pm

The series follows 12 passionate, home potters as they strive to create their most intricate and imaginative work, before their pieces are judged by the expert judging duo and a variety of well-known faces and experts from the world of pottery.



CELEBRITY HUNTED

Sunday 5th January, 9pm

Twelve famous faces will attempt to stay off the radar and remain at large for two weeks as crack team of hunters try and track them down. With former police officers, intelligence and army personnel hot on their tail and faces recognisable across the UK will they be able to stay undetected?


JUNIOR BAKE OFF

Monday 6th January, 5pm

Forty of the country’s best junior bakers, aged 9-15 will enter the Bake Off tent where their cake-making, biscuit baking, bread and pastry making skills will be tested to the limit. In each of the ten heats, the junior bakers face two challenges, the Technical Bake and the Showstopper with only four making it through to the grand final.



KIRSTIE AND PHIL'S LOVE IT OR LIST IT

Wednesday 8th January, 8pm

The plucky property dream team, Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer, will return in competition to help families who have fallen out of love with their house. Once again Kirstie will be firmly positioned in camp ‘love it’ and encouraging families to stay put and revamp their current property while Phil is still team ‘list it’ and trying to convince them that ‘listing’ their house for sale and moving is the only way.


PATIENCE

Wednesday 8th January, 9pm

Patience Evans (Ella Maisy Purvis) works in the criminal records department of Yorkshire Police, cataloguing and filing the evidence produced during major cases. A young autistic woman, she craves routine and order, relishing the solitude and structure her job provides but she yearns for more. Detective Bea Metcalf (Laura Fraser) is the first person to spot and utilize her talent, which opens a door into a whole new world for Patience. 



SANDI'S GREAT WOODLAND RESTORATION

Thursday 9th January, 8pm

The new series will follow the Extraordinary Escapes presenter has she restores her own patch of land in an ancient woodland. The series will also feature Toksvig's wife Debbie as the pair shine a light on Britain's woodland crisis.


TRAVEL MAN: 48 HOURS IN...

Friday 10th January, 8:30pm

Each episode takes a sideways look at how visitors might spend 48 hours in some of the world’s most popular mini-break destinations - and for each trip the Travel Man is joined by a well-known travel companion.
