5 APRIL PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS REVEALED, NEW AND RETURNING TITLES

The new and returning series airing on Channel 5 during April have been revealed.



THE FEUD

Emma and John Barnett, along with their daughter Beth, appear to live an idyllic life on Shelbury Drive. They’re close friends with neighbours Sonia and Alan, and despite their foibles, are also fond of older couple, Derek and Barbara. However, when Emma and John decide to add a kitchen extension to their house, these friendships prove to be not quite as harmonious as they seem.



THE MADAME BLANC MYSTERIES

Series continues

The Ste Victoire library is lined with shelves of curated books. At its centre, a glass box holds a small bronze statue of Hathor, the Goddess of Intoxication. Jean is packing up when Dom messages her that he’s outside. Before leaving, she talks to Thomas, the night watchman, who mentions the statue will be sent to Paris the next day.


FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC: THE ORIGIN

The origin story of Olivia and Malcolm Foxworth, and how dark family secrets shaped the Foxworth family from the very beginning. Smart, opinionated, ahead-of-her-time Olivia Winfield gives up her career, her home, and her name to become Mrs Malcolm Foxworth, the wife of the nation's richest man.



VOLCANO WITH DARA O'BRIAIN

For millennia, volcanoes have inspired both awe and fear. In this two-part series comedian and presenter Dara Ó Briain explores the immense power of Italy’s most active volcanoes. With stunning visuals, gripping stories, and Dara’s trademark wit, this series uncovers the deadly force of volcanoes and their lasting impact on our planet.


THE INCIDENT ROOM

New series taking viewers to the centre of the incident room where every second counts in the race to apprehend a killer. Viewers will be led through each step of the investigation by the original detectives who worked the case - including interviews with friends and family members, psychologists and forensic investigators.


THE YORKSHIRE VET

Series continues

The Yorkshire Vet follows all the drama, laughter and tears as a group of town and country vets, at four different practices across the county, help animals of all kinds. Christopher Timothy, who once played the world’s most famous vet, James Herriot, provides the series narration.




VANESSA

Continues

Vanessa is must-watch, heartwarming, and hard-hitting television, bringing straight-talking discussions on relationships, parenting, gossip, fashion, and more. With Vanessa Feltz at the helm, expect open, honest, and fun conversations featuring celebrities as you've never seen them before, real-life confessions, commiserations, and celebrations.
