CHANNEL 5 REVEALS MARCH PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS, NEW AND RETURNING TITLES

Channel 5 have revealed the new and returning titles launching on BBC One and iPlayer during March 2025.



The Au Pair

New drama which follows Zoe Dalton (Sally Bretton), who seems to have it all. Then she experiences marital issues and pressure mounts when her diabetic father, George (David Suchet), moves in next door. Zoe reluctantly agrees to hire an Au Pair - in comes Sandrine (Ludmilla Makowski), a beguiling young French woman which triggers an unsettling shift in the household, as instincts and suspicions arise, hinting at hidden agendas and long-concealed truths.



The Madame Blanc Mysteries

Returning stars include Paul Chuckle (Paul Elliott) who has appeared as Gloria’s dad Trevor in all series, actor Les Dennis, who appeared in series 2, and comedian and actor Stephen Bailey who starred in series 3.


Making their debut in series 4 will be Samantha Power (Coronation Street, Brassic, Bank of Dave 2), Charlie Condou (Coronation Street, Holby City, Unforgotten), Richard Blackwood (EastEnders, Hollyoaks, Death in Paradise, Pandora), Danny Hatchard (Our Girl, Ripley Road, Eastenders), Graeme Hawley (Finding Alice, Coronation Street), Lorraine Burroughs (Sweetpea, Top Boy), and Edward MacLiam (Cucumber).



The Flatshare

A will they/won’t they romcom with a twist, The Flatshare follows two cash-strapped London twentysomethings who share a bed. The catch is – Tiffany and Leon have never met and, if their plan works out, they never will.

Police Suspect No.1

In Grimsby, a vicious mass street brawl causes mayhem and leaves innocent bystanders with serious injuries in its wake - one with a critical head wound forcefully inflicted by the violent swinging of a crowbar. Police arrive and immediately arrest three suspects at the scene.



Due to the serious nature of the assaults, the case is passed to CID. Through intense witness and suspect custody interviews, CSI forensics, and CCTV trawls, detectives must work round the clock to identify and track down the multiple remaining suspects.

Home And Away

Harper and Tane are on edge as Levi explains their baby’s condition to them – he has a small cyst on his lung putting pressure on his organs. At worst, it could cause foetal heart failure. As Harper is wheeled off to undergo more tests, Tane confides in Levi – he had a nephew who died in infancy. Levi reassures him that the condition is not hereditary – there’s no way to know why this happened to them.
