COLIN FROM ACCOUNTS RENEWED FOR SECOND SERIES
Australian streamer BINGE have confirmed that hit romantic comedy series Colin From Accounts, which launched in the UK on BBC Two earlier this year, will be returning for a second series.
Created, written by and starring Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer, the eight-part series centres on Ashley and Gordon; two single(ish), complex humans who are brought together by a car accident and an injured dog. Colin from Accounts is about flawed, funny people choosing each other and being brave enough to show their true self, scars and all, as they navigate life together.
Colin from Accounts also stars Helen Thomson (Elvis, Irreverent), Emma Harvie (Frayed, The Let Down), Genevieve Hegney (The Little Death, Devil’s Dust), Michael Logo (Love Me, Why Are You Like This) and Tai Hara (Home & Away, Madam Secretary).
Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer said: "We’re thrilled that BINGE is finally giving in and letting us do another one. Turns out the Border Terrier community is extremely powerful. Thank you to everybody around the world who has enjoyed the show, we can’t wait to bring you all a second season. Stay tuned for more shenanigans."
Alison Hurbert-Burns, Commissioner and BINGE Executive Director, said: "BINGE is thrilled to confirm a second season of the award-winning Colin from Accounts. We left season one unsure if Ashley and Gordon could get Colin back so of course we need to see what’s next for these lovable characters that audiences in Australia, and the world have fallen in love with."
Colin from Accounts, commissioned for the Foxtel Group in Australia, is produced by Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios and was acquired by the BBC from Paramount Global Content Distribution.
Colin from Accounts is available on BBC iPlayer now.
