APPLE TV RETURN FOR MORE COMPLETELY MADE-UP ADVENTURES OF DICK TURPIN WITH NOEL FIELDING

Apple TV have commissioned a second series of The Completely Made-Up Adventures Of Dick Turpin with Noel Fielding following a successful first series earlier this year.

In the first series Dick Turpin (Noel Fielding) sets out on a journey of wildly absurd escapades when he’s made the reluctant leader of a band of outlaws — and tasked with outwitting corrupt lawman and self-appointed thief-taker Jonathan Wilde (Hugh Bonneville).

Noel Fielding will star as Dick Turpin, the legendary British highwayman. In this irreverent retelling, Dick is the most famous, but least likely of highway robbers, whose success is defined mostly by his charm, showmanship and great hair.

Together with his gang of loveable rogues, Dick rides the highs and lows of celebrity — and does what he can to escape the clutches of the Thief Taker General.

Guest stars across the first series include Hugh Bonneville, Greg Davies, Jessica Hynes, Paul Kaye, Guz Khan, Diane Morgan, Connor Swindells, Laura Checkley, David Threlfall and Colin Hoult.
