RATINGS: DOCTOR WHO CONSOLIDATED FIGURES REVEALED FOR THE ROBOT REVOLUTION

In the new series, audiences join The Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu) on an epic quest to get Belinda back to Earth. But a mysterious force is stopping their return and the time-travelling TARDIS team must face great dangers, ferocious enemies and wilder terrors than ever before.

Doctor Who returned to BBC One on Saturday 12th April with 'The Robot Revolution' which scored overnight audience of 2.0m. This was BBC One's second highest rating of the day and the fourth most-watched programme on UK TV overall that day.
BARB data has now been released which shows The Robot Revolution has consolidated to 3.57m after 7-days. This figure includes those who watched from 8am on the day of release, and includes those who watched on devices such as phones and computers.
Overall, it was the 21st most-watched programme of the week, ahead of both BBC Sunday night dramas Ten Pound Poms and This City Is Ours, but behind BBC One's Beyond Paradise. It was the fourth highest rating programme of the day, behind Britain's Got Talent and The 1% Club on ITV1, and the Gladiators grand final on BBC One.
The synopsis for the episode reads: "When robots from outer space kidnap nurse Belinda Chandra, the Doctor embarks on an epic intergalactic quest to get his new friend back home to Earth."
