VICKI MICHELLE JOINS THE CAST OF EASTENDERS

Vicki Michelle has joined the cast of EastEnders for a short stint in the role of Jo Cotton, wife to Rocky Cotton, played by Brian Conley.

Vicki Michelle has had an illustrious career across both the big and small screen but is best known for her role as Yvette Carte-Blanche in the much-loved, BAFTA nominated BBC comedy series Allo! Allo!

Jo and Rocky got married over 25 years ago but with Rocky never being the most honest about his past, little is known about his previous relationship but just how will he react when his past catches up with him?

Speaking on joining the show, Vicki said: “I’m so excited to be in EastEnders and everyone has been so lovely. Jo Cotton is a great character and it is such a great story. I can’t wait for the audience to meet her.”

Chris Clenshaw, Executive Producer adds: “We’re thrilled to welcome the immensely talented Vicki to the EastEnders family, as she brings to life the character of Jo Cotton. Vicki is the perfect fit to take on the elusive character of Rocky’s wife that we know very little about. Brash, quick-witted, and extremely glamorous, Jo is akin to her long-lost husband, Rocky and as you would expect she is immediately thrown into the heart of the drama when she arrives in Walford."

EastEnders continues on BBC One and iPlayer.
