FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC: CHANNEL 5 ACQUIRE US DRAMA PREQUEL

Channel 5 have acquired the origin story of Olivia and Malcolm Foxworth, and how dark family secrets shaped the Foxworth family from the very beginning.

The four-part drama, which is available to stream on My5 now and will air on linear from January, stars Jemima Rooper, Max Irons, T'Shan Williams and Kate Mulgrew

Smart, opinionated, ahead-of-her-time Olivia Winfield gives up her career, her home, and her name to become Mrs Malcolm Foxworth, the wife of the nation's richest man.

Leaving behind her father, when she arrives at her new home, Olivia soon realises that life at Foxworth Hall is far from the fairytale she imagined it would be and begins to question the choices that led her down this path of eventual destruction.
