FRED'S LAST RESORT: MEET THE CONTESTANTS IN NEW E4 SERIES

Do 12 eager young Brits have what it takes to make it in the rarefied world of high-end hospitality? Fred Sirieix is determined to find out, plunging his novice Gen Z hopefuls in at the deep end as they're tasked with running the five-star Hôtel Les Roches Blanches in the spectacular south of France.

Across a stressful summer season, Fred's contenders compete in a variety of demanding challenges, exposing them to all that the land of lavish luxury has to offer - as well as the exacting standards expected of those serving the super-rich.

At the end of it all, one will win a life-changing job for an international hotel group - as well as a handsome cash prize to boot. But they'll have to impress Fred, first. Anything less than five-star service, and they'll be on the first plane home. The competition begins as the excitable youngsters arrive at Les Roches Blanches with sun, sea and... more on their minds.

Taking part are Tom, Dippy, Levi, Heather, Francesca, Lance, Sammi, Mollie, Lacey, Orlagh, Jackson, Pawel.

But before they've had chance to unpack their suitcases, Fred immediately sends the recruits off on a whistle-stop tour of the resort to introduce them to the mountain of jobs they'll be undertaking over the summer.

After serving a gourmet meal to 30 VIPs, Fred's fledglings must throw an opulent birthday party, sourcing the food and drinks themselves in the local town. Twelve young Brits sampling luxury beverages in the sun on the French Riviera - what could possibly go wrong?

Fred's Last Resort begins Tuesday 14th March at 9pm on E4.
