GLADIATORS LINE-UP CONFIRMED FOR SECOND SERIES ON BBC ONE

Gladiators, the most exciting and iconic sports entertainment show, made by Hungry Bear Media and MGM Alternative UK will return to the BBC.

The hotly anticipated show gripped the nation and quickly became the biggest entertainment launch for a new series in seven years with 28 day figures showing that 9.8m viewers watched the first episode, with the series averaging 8.3 million viewers.

Ahead of filming commencing next week (1st August) on the second series, it has been confirmed that Bradley and Barney Walsh will return as hosts for the 11-episode series which will launch in early 2025.

Also confirmed to return are all sixteen Gladiators - Sabre, Legend, Nitro, Diamond, Phantom, Athena, Bionic, Fire, Giant, Dynamite, Viper, Electro, Apollo, Comet, Steel and Fury. All quickly become household names as viewers cheered on their favourites as they competed against Contenders in iconic events such as Duel and Powerball, culminating in the iconic Eliminator.

Though not formally announced by the BBC, producer Dan Baldwin has previously revealed that a celebrity edition was in the works. Filming on the new series begins 1st August at Sheffield Arena. Tickets available via Applause Store.
