GLADIATORS TONIGHT: FIRST LOOK AT THIS WEEK'S EPISODE, CONTENDERS AND CHALLENGES

Gladiators, the most exciting and iconic sports entertainment show, continues on BBC One for a second series after the success of the first series which quickly gripped the nation and consolidated to near 10 million viewers.

Once again hosted by father and son duo Bradley and Barney Walsh, the show will see the Gladiators competing against a brave set of contenders in the ultimate test of speed and strength. They will take part in a series of brand-new games alongside classic challenges including fan-favourite The Eliminator.

In this episode, an unexpected series of events shocks the arena and leaves one Gladiator defeated for the first time ever on Hang Tough. A new Gladiator smashes onto the scene and makes his mark on the Duel podium. And witness the fastest female Eliminator to date.
