GLADIATORS TONIGHT: FIRST LOOK AT THIS WEEK'S EPISODE, CONTENDERS AND CHALLENGES

Gladiators, the most exciting and iconic sports entertainment show, continues on BBC One for a second series after the success of the first series which quickly gripped the nation and consolidated to near 10 million viewers.

Once again hosted by father and son duo Bradley and Barney Walsh, the show will see the Gladiators competing against a brave set of contenders in the ultimate test of speed and strength. They will take part in a series of brand-new games alongside classic challenges including fan-favourite The Eliminator.

In the last of the quarter-finals, determined Contenders battle it out for a place in the semis. The daughter of British boxing royalty sheds a tear as she reveals her fear of heights on the Edge, Phantom breaks the rules and gets disqualified and an incredible performance on the Eliminator results in a record-breaking finish time.
