BRITAIN'S BEST WOODWORKER RENEWED FOR THIRD SERIES ON CHANNEL 4

This series which celebrates the beauty of the wood material, and the skills of those who are good at working with it, will return for a third series, it has been confirmed.

The first series saw nine of the country's most talented craftspeople compete to be crowned Britain's best woodworker. The series launch in October 2021 - with the first episode consolidating to over 2 million viewers.

It has now been confirmed that the series has been recommissioned for two further series on Channel 4, the first of which airs from tonight (Wednesday 21 September) on Channel 4.

Each episode sees the woodworkers compete against each other in the workshop, which was nestled in the woodland of Wales' Glanusk Estate, where they face a big build that supersizes the skills they've honed at home and surprising challenges that tested their core skills.

Series 1 of Handmade: Britain's Best Woodworker is available on All4. The current series continues Wednesday nights at 8pm.
