HEY TRACEY! AXED BY ITV2 (EXCLUSIVE)

Comedy quiz show Hey Tracey! will not be returning for a third series.

Comedian Joel Dommett presented the ITV2 series where celebrities make hilarious prank calls to win cash for members of the public. Comedy writer Donna Preston played 'Tracey' - the show's virtual assistant.

The series first launched in the Summer of 2019, reaching a respectable audience of 400-500k every week, helped by the Love Island lead-in. However, when the series returned in Autumn 2020, it sunk to an all time low, with some episodes failing to reach 200k consolidated.

ITV2 have now ditched the show due to low ratings and to open up the schedule for new ideas.

Joel Dommett continues to present The Masked Singer on ITV, and was recently announced as the host of the National Television Awards 2021.
