HUNTED SET FOR EIGHTH SERIES ON CHANNEL 4, APPLICATIONS OPEN
Hunted looks set to return for an eighth civilian series on Channel 4, with applications now open. For details on how to apply, click here.
The broadcaster delayed its recommission from last year after it kept the previous series on the shelf for two years. Celebrity Hunted, which is currently airing on Channel 4 every Sunday night, was filmed in Summer 2023.
Hunted, produced by Banijay UK, sees a dozen ordinary people from all over the UK have turned fugitive. If they can successfully outrun the elite team of hunters for 21 days, they will win a share of £100,000.
In one of the most closely monitored countries in the world, where will the fugitives hide? On the run across the length and breadth of the UK, these fugitives will be looking over their shoulders, ever fearful that the hunters have picked up their trail.
The Chief oversees a handpicked team of top police and military personnel, armed with the powers of the state, which includes live CCTV, ANPR, GPS positioning, drones, tracker dogs, mobile phone monitoring, publicity campaigns and, for the first time, motorbikes.
The current series of Celebrity Hunted sees the famous faces tasked with going on the run across mainland UK while an elite team of Hunters try to track them down. They must evade capture for 14 days, while the Hunters throw all their resources at catching them.
Previous series of Hunted are available on Channel 4.
