ITV BETS BIG ON REALITY AND ENTERTAINMENT, NEW AND RETURNING TITLES REVEALED

Alongside returning favourites Love Island, I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and Big Brother, ITV are preparing to launch a range or new and returning reality series over the next year.

Genius Game

New reality game show hosted by David Tennant that will see strategically minded players, chosen not just for their high intellectual prowess but also their social IQ, face the ultimate battle of survival.

To win, contestants will participate in a host of never before seen games all designed to not only test their intellectual acumen but encourage them to carefully and creatively use the art of manipulation to outfox their opponents and win a cash prize.

Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters

TBC, 2025

Slated to air in time with the 50th Anniversary of the three-time Oscar-winning film Jaws, the show will dare a group of ocean-phobic celebrities to confront their greatest fear – sharks. Throughout their adrenaline-fueled, challenge-heavy journey in the Bahamas – the shark capital of the world – these A-listers will push past their limits to come nose to nose with nature’s ‘villains.’

Their first-hand experiences will provide immeasurable excitement and new perspective; they’ll come to appreciate sharks’ valuable place on the food chain and in our ecosystem, recognizing that a world devoid of these notoriously terrifying creatures is downright frightening. 

The Fortune Hotel

Hosted by the incomparable Stephen Mangan, 10 pairs of contestants will arrive at The Fortune Hotel, where they will be given an all-important briefcase. Inside one case is the ultimate jackpot of £250,000 in cash, eight are empty, and one contains the dreaded Early Checkout Card – whichever pair is left holding that case at the end of each show will see their stay brought to a dramatic, premature end. 

Every day the contestants have the chance to try to uncover who has which case through playing compelling challenges, and as the “Whogotit” mystery ramps up for the hotel guests, viewers at home will remain deliciously in-the-know throughout, witness to all of their plans and strategies playing out.

The Summit

Hosted by Ben Shephard, 14 strangers from all walks of life will face the daunting challenge of climbing a mountain in the breathtaking, rugged Alps of New Zealand’s South Island. They will also face the ultimate test of strategy and resilience as they compete for a share of a potential £200,000 cash prize.

With 14 days to reach the summit, and an equal share of the prize fund in their backpacks, the contestants will have to navigate treacherous terrain, wild conditions and overcome extraordinary challenges – set by the mysterious Mountain’s Keeper – that block their path to the peak.

The Neighbourhood

Hosted by Graham Norton, tis brand new 12-part series will see real-life households from all walks of life move in side by side, finding themselves not only neighbours but also fierce competitors in the ultimate reality showdown. This is a game the households will live as well as play. 

They’ll be with each other 24/7, sleeping and eating in their houses, socialising between them - and then voting each other out.  The challenges they face in public will change the dynamics behind closed doors.  And to win, they’ll need to defeat their neighbours, while still staying popular on the street.

The Box

The Box first aired in Norway earlier this year and sees a cast of contestants placed 'at mercy' of the show. They each enter a box and are transferred to a different location. When the box opens at the new location, the contestant must face whatever is in front of them.

I'm A Celebrity: South Africa

The South Africa editions sees the return of some of the most memorable campmates in a brand new setting. It will see bigger and tougher challenges with the environment harsher and more unforgiving.

Celebrity Sabotage

This primetime entertainment show combines high-stakes reality, hilarious challenges, and incredible surprises. Contestants believe they are competing in a reality game show to win an incredible prize.

But hidden away in a secret HQ, Celebrity Saboteurs are watching their every move, carrying out missions designed to disrupt their success. The more sabotage missions completed undetected, the greater the prize—but if a Celebrity Saboteur is caught, the contestant face a difficult decision.
