JOE LYCETT'S LATE NIGHT LYCETT SHELVED FOR 2025, SHOW COULD RETURN IN THE FUTURE

Late Night Lycett, the live late night Channel 4 entertainment series fronted by award-winning comedian Joe Lycett, has been shelved by Channel 4 after two series.

The Sun reports the series, which broadcast live from Joe's home city of Birmingham every Friday night, will not air this year due to Joe's paternity leave after recently welcoming his first child.

A source told the publication: "Late Night Lycett is a hugely popular format and one that Channel 4 want to keep on air... Channel 4 are keen for another series but at the moment Joe has taken extended time off to be with his newborn son and family... Bosses are respecting his decision and when he does return to work, talks will take place about whether to commission a new series."

With inclusivity and fun at its heart, Late Night Lycett celebrates the city and its diversity as he’s joined by local heroes, LGBTQ+ icons and big-name guests from the worlds of comedy, television, music and film.

Late Night Lycett is available now on Channel 4 streaming.
