LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: THURSDAY 18 JULY 2024

Here's a rundown of what happens on tonight's episode of Love Island, which continues on ITV2 and ITVX.

LOLA MAKES HER CHOICE

Back at the Fire Pit, new bombshell Lola is tasked with a difficult decision as she prepares to steal an Islander of her choice to couple up with. 

Having been getting to know both Joey and Reuben since entering the Villa, Jessy whispers to Joey ahead of Lola’s decision as she admits: “I’m scared” 

But with the power firmly in Lola’s hands, who will she pick? 

THE ISLANDERS GET READY FOR THE ‘COUPLE GOALS CHALLENGE’ 

The next day, when relaxing on the daybeds, the Islanders receives a text with details of the day’s challenge ‘Couple Goals’, it reads: 

“Islanders, It’s time to reveal what you really think of each other in today’s challenge, Couple Goals. #IfTruthBeTold #NoHoldingBack”

With Sean & Matilda named as hosts, Islanders will face a series of questions, with each couple then writing down who they think questions refer to and sharing their answer with the rest of the group. 

As the Islanders get ready to have their view, they take it in turns to answer questions such as who is the most argumentative couple? Which couple gives you the biggest ick? And which couple are the biggest game players? 

JOEY’S SECRET MISSION IS REVEALED 

Amidst a tense and revealing game, it appears that everyone hasn’t been completely honest with their antics in the Villa. 

When asked which couple are the most likely to have their heads turned, Joey whispers: “I know something no one knows here” 

And it isn’t long before this comes to light, explaining his decision to pick Josh & Mimii as most likely to have their heads turned, Joey reveals: “Mimii, there've been a few situations that I’ve been involved with that probably people don’t know about.” 

When a confused Josh, asks: “What situations?” 

Joey replies: “Well, I was on a bit of a secret mission the other day…” 

Josh quizzes: “What mission?” 

Joey answers: “Well it’s a secret mission, I can’t…” 

Keen to hear what the secret mission was, the other Islanders chime in, with Sean saying: “I think you’ve got to share the secret mission” 

As Reuben adds: “You’ve got to say it now…” 

But with Joey letting slip about the secret mission, will he come clean with the details?
