LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: THURSDAY 25 JULY 2024

Here's a rundown of what happens on tonight's episode of Love Island, which continues on ITV2 and ITVX.

GRACE AND REUBEN BID FAREWELL TO THE VILLA

Having been voted as the couple least likely to work on the outside, Grace and Reuben received a text informing them that their Love Island journey had come to an unexpected end.

It’s an emotional departure for the Islanders as a tearful Grace says: “I’m going to miss you girlies so much.”

As they prepare to leave the Villa, Reuben says: “Oh my lady, it’s time for us to ride off into the sunset.”

Just before they exit the Villa, Joey heads over to Grace to say goodbye, will the former flames be able to put their differences aside ahead of her departure?

Reflecting on her experience in the Villa, Grace says: “The fact that I’m walking out here with Reuben just makes it so much better.

Reuben adds: “It’s sad to leave everyone, however, look who I’ve walked out with, I’m winning regardless.”

JOEY ATTEMPTS TO CLEAR THE AIR WITH JOSH

Having been unable to previously see eye to eye, Joey makes an attempt to clear the air with Josh.

As they head out into the garden Joey says: “I just want to clear the air with you finally after yesterday, man to man, honestly Josh, I rate you as a person mate and I know we’ve clashed but I just want to let you know that it’s done.”

Joey goes on to explain: “I understand that it’s a sensitive subject for you and Mimii and I want you and Mimii to move forward and be the happiest couple ever.”

How will Josh react to Joey extending the Olive branch?

THE BOYS HEAD FOR THE AISLES WHILST THE GIRLS GET GLAM

As the sun shines over the Villa it’s not long before the Islanders receive a text, the message reads: “Islanders, Tonight each couple will have a special date in the Villa. Boys it’s time to head out and prepare for a date to remember. #ShopTilYouDrop #LoveIsInTheAir

Excitement sweeps across the Villa as Ciaran exclaims: “Yay, we are going shopping.”

The boys jump and cheer as they huddle together and collectively chant: “Shop, shop, shop, shop.”

It’s not long before the girls also receive a text inviting them to get glam for their dates later that evening, the message reads: “Girls, It’s time to get yourself glam for date night with your boys. Head to the dressing room for a pamper sesh! #DateNightPrep #Boots

How will the boys fare as they conquer the aisles in a bid to impress the girls with their culinary skills and who heads to the jewellers to buy his partner a special gift?

THE ISLANDERS DINE IN STYLE FOR DATE NIGHT

As night falls the Villa is transformed into a dating haven for the Islanders as each boy dedicates an area to host his date complete with decorations and a romantic dinner.

Ayo places petals around the fire pit whilst presenting Jess with a rose as she says: “This is literally perfect.”

Matilda and Sean enjoy dinner at the Island in the kitchen whilst Joey whisks Jessy off to the snug.

Mimii and Josh head to the mini fire pit joined by a special guest in the form of the teddy bear they share, nicknamed Jomi.

Ciaran and Nicole have their date up on the terrace as she says: “This is the cutest thing ever, did you blow those balloons up yourself?”

As the evening unfolds, one boy has an important question for his partner as he asks: “I’ve been thinking, why don’t we be exclusive?”
