LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: THURSDAY 27 JUNE 2024
Here's a rundown of what happens on tonight's episode of Love Island, which continues on ITV2 and ITVX.
HARRIETT AND CIARAN’S GARDEN GAME TENSION CONTINUES
Harriett is in tears following her clash with Ciaran during the ‘never have I ever’ garden game, in which he suggested she hasn’t been a first choice yet.
Harriett tearfully asks Matilda: “Why has he just embarrassed me?”
Grace tells her: “This is your journey and it’s fine that it’s been this way. Ronnie straight away was like ‘No, she’s the first option.’”
Ciaran at the Fire Pit tells the other Islanders: “She said her piece, I said my piece, leave it.”
Later speaking privately to Nicole, he adds: “I said what I meant, I’m not apologising for it.”
Harriett tells Grace and Matilda: “If I was Nicole I’d be so embarrassed. I’m not talking to him ever again.”
Grace consoles her saying: “No-one thinks that, it was nasty that he even voiced that.”
Ronnie then comes over to check on Harriett and insists: “There’s no-one in this world that should make you cry.”
He adds: “You’re here having the best experience ever and you’re going to shed a tear over what? Nothing. So just keep being you and stop crying.”
JOEY PULLS JESSY AS GRACE WATCHES ON
Elsewhere Joey goes over to Jessy to pull her for a chat at the mini fire pit.
Speaking about who she might have her eye on since arriving as a bombshell Jessy says: “[There’s] not anyone I’d completely rule out, other than Ciaran. I think he’s the only one that’s completely closed off.”
Joey replies: “I feel like I gave you quite open.”
Jessy says: “You gave me open. Grace gave me closed for you. But I feel like that’s between you two.”
Joey explains: “With me and Grace, we’re close. We actually get on, there’s real feelings there, all that. But it would be silly to just close things off. I want to get to know you more. That date last night was literally the best date. Would you like to go on another date?”
Jessy says: “Yeah why not. Would you?”
Joey replies: “Yeah, course.”
Jessy admits: “I didn’t expect you to be chasing me though Joey… switched that up completely.”
Joey says: “Listen, I just wanted to make you feel comfortable when you walked in here…”
Grace, watching on, says: “What are they talking about? What is their chat?”
Meanwhile Joey continues: “I can’t deny it. I’m going with my heart, it’s true feelings. I just feel like I’m in my rights to be in here and explore. I ain’t in a relationship.”
He adds: “I’ve not really had this with anyone. This flowing conversation. I feel like I’ve enjoyed this conversation too much.”
Jessy replies: “You’re going to get me in trouble.”
Joey admits: “You’re going to get me in trouble.”
JOEY AND GRACE SPEAK ABOUT JESSY’S ARRIVAL
Grace wants to understand why Joey is speaking to new arrival Jessy.
Joey explains: “In my head, if we can get through this, this what’s happened, it’ll only make us stronger. That’s how I see it.”
Grace says: “It’s difficult for me to sit here and be like, ‘You do what you need to do, if you feel like you need to explore something with someone else, I’ll just sit here and wait.’ I’m not going to do that Joey.”
Grace continues: “But I don’t get it, are you still wanting to get to know her. If you are, then I don’t want to be involved…”
Joey replies: “I still need to… I can’t not get to know this girl.. I just feel like if I didn’t I would be silly.”
How will Grace respond?
A GLOBAL HIP HOP SUPERSTAR BRINGS THE PARTY TO THE VILLA
Nicole gets an exciting text, revealing the Villa is about to get a VIP arrival.
Reading the text out, Nicole says: “Islanders, it’s time to slay as tonight the Villa will host a VIP performance that will blow your mind. #whosthatgirl”
Realising it’s hip hop legend Eve, the Islanders are thrilled as they get ready for the night.
Ronnie enthuses: “Boys, are we buzzing for Eve?!”
Uma celebrates: “Guys, we’re having a party!”
After making a stunning entrance, Eve brings the party to the Villa playing her hits including Who’s That Girl.
Eve tells the Islanders: “We came to have some fun with you tonight - ya’ll look great!”
Joey says of the night’s performance: “Fire! The best!”
Ayo enthuses: “Eve, in front of me performing live is bucket list, check!”
Eve takes a selfie with the Islanders before leaving.
However, the night isn’t over as Nicole gets another text…
