MR BIGSTUFF: COMEDY STARRING DANNY DYER RENEWED FOR SECOND SERIES ON SKY

Sky have commissioned a second series of original comedy Mr Bigstuff following the success of its first series which landed earlier this Summer.

The series, which became Sky's biggest comedy in three years, starred Ryan Sampson, Danny Dyer and Harriet Webb, alongside guest cast Adrian Scarborough, Fatiha El Ghorri, Ned Dennehy, Victoria Alcock, Geoff Bell, Nitin Ganatra, Judi Love.

In the first series, Glen (Ryan Sampson) and his fiancée Kirsty (Harriet Webb) share a perfect, perfectly mundane life together. Sure, Glen’s got crippling erectile dysfunction and Kirsty has a secret shoplifting habit, but they’re happy.

That is until Lee (Danny Dyer) comes crashing into their lives, whilst on the run from a past that’s quickly catching up with him. The trio are forced together: a perfectionist, a fantasist and an anarchist all living under the same roof in an Essex cul-de-sac.

It’s not long before their ‘perfect’ lives start to unravel faster than the weave of a cheap carpet. The second series is due to go into production later this year and air in 2025.

Mr Bigstuff is available now on Sky and streaming service NOW.
