ONE QUESTION WITH CLAUDIA WINKLEMAN CONFIRMS LAUNCH DATE FOR SECOND SERIES
Nearly three years since the first series, and two years since Series 2 was recorded, the second series of Channel 4 gameshow One Question has finally confirmed its launch date.
One Question is a seemingly simple yet deceptively difficult general knowledge quiz in which pairs of contestants must answer just one question correctly. But that one question comes with 16 possible answers and only one is correct. All the players must do to win £100k, is choose which is the correct answer.
Eliminate the incorrect answers and they’ll be on the path to victory, but if they eliminate the one correct answer it’s game over. Channel 4 are yet to confirm the launch date for the second series.
On returning to the One Question hot seat, Claudia Winkleman said: “I’m completely obsessed with this show and am so happy we get to do it again. No buzzers, no fancy lighting, no hoo haa. Just one question and I can give our brilliant players 100k. Plus there’s sitting down. I’m a big fan of sitting down.”
Tom Beck, Commissioning Editor for Channel 4, said: “We had a lot of fun making One Question and it was a joy to see our viewers respond so positively to it. It’s brilliant to have the incomparable Claudia Winkleman back to be asking that all important one question.”
Phil Harris, Head of Entertainment at Channel 4 said: “We are thrilled to be bringing this brilliant show back to our screens. What started as a hilarious pilot in a dark Manchester studio is now on the brink of becoming a global success for the talented team at Chalkboard.”
One Question returns Friday 14th February at 8pm on Channel 4.
