Strictly Come Dancing

BBC One

Strictly Come Dancing is returning to BBC One and BBC iPlayer in autumn 2024 with another spectacular series of glitz, glamour and unforgettable performances with the brand new series promising to be extra special as Strictly turns 20!



Blankety Blank

BBC One

Hosted by Bradley Walsh and remaining true to the original format, the new series will also keep the well-loved theme tune as well as the Blankety Blank cheque book and pen prize.


Waterloo Road

BBC One

Waterloo Road sees a changing of the guard. Battling some expected teething problems, the students and teachers attempt to find their feet and make big decisions that affect their future at the school. But when a chain of unfortunate circumstances - and one bad choice - turns lives into chaos, there are tragic repercussions for everyone at Waterloo Road.



Nightsleeper

BBC One

Nightsleeper is a six-part series in which a train is ‘hackjacked’ while travelling from Glasgow to London, and suddenly finds itself on an uncertain journey with an even less certain destination. Part fast-moving heart-in-the-mouth action-adventure and part twisty-turny whodunnit detective story, it’s a roller coaster ride set across a single night where no-one is ever quite who they seem.

Ash and Gordon have moved in together, but there’s a big, Colin-shaped hole in their hearts as they try to get their beloved special needs dog back from his new owners – and work out whether they want a relationship or if they just wanted a dog.



The Voice UK

In search of the next singing sensation, superstar coaches Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am are back and ready to take their seats in the most iconic chairs on television. They are joined by brand-new coaches in international multiplatinum selling singer and Grammy Award winner LeAnn Rimes and British boyband royalty Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones from McFly who will sit in a double chair for the first time in The Voice UK’s history!

Featuring one of the UK’s biggest comics - Alan Carr - and an award-winning actor and writer - Daisy May Cooper - as resident Team Captains, each episode sees Alan and Daisy pair up with contestants to give one-word clues that aim to help their teammate guess a mystery ‘password’.


My Mum Your Dad

Once again the grown-up kids return to the surveillance room dubbed the ‘Bunker’ where they are entrusted with the fate of their single parents as they search for love in the retreat - watching along, there will be some new twists along the way as they get a front-row seat to how their parents fare in their bid to make a romantic connection and ultimately decide if they give their blessing to any potential matches.



Joan

ITV1

The series opens with Joan, a fiery and uncompromising woman in her twenties who is deeply scarred and vulnerable - she is a devoted mother to her six-year-old daughter Kelly but is trapped in a disastrous marriage with a violent criminal named Gary. When Gary goes on the run, Joan seizes the opportunity to create a new life for herself and her daughter.


Dress The Nation

ITV1

Hosts AJ Odudu and Vernon Kay kick off ITV’s nationwide search for the UK’s next top designer in partnership with M&S. Ten up-and-coming designers will compete to win a highly coveted role working alongside some of the best designers in the industry at M&S. Throughout the programme, contestants will be set a series of briefs which will assess their design, problem-solving, commerciality and collaboration skills.


Olivia Attwood's Bad Boyfriends

Eight unsuspecting bad boyfriends will be flown to a Greek island under the premise of filming a series about manhood and bromance in a hedonistic holiday mecca, before getting the shock of their lives when Olivia appears to announce their wild partying days are on hold and to reveal the true purpose of the show - to whip them into better boyfriend shape. All at the behest of their long-suffering girlfriends, whose surprise, dramatic arrivals cause mayhem.



Paralympics: Paris 2024

Channel 4

Building on the pioneering achievements of previous Paralympic coverage, Paris 2024 is set to be Channel 4’s most accessible Paralympic Games to date. All content will be broadcast with subtitles, live peak time sport on Channel 4 will have closed audio description, while live sport on Channel 4 every afternoon during the Paralympics will include BSL live signing.


Taskmaster

A new group of comedians have all agreed to attempt a series of Tasks that will test their wits, their reasoning, their problem-solving and whether or not they can locate hidden rockets under pressure. The Taskmaster will judge their efforts with his customary merciless precision, and will eventually award one his coveted golden head.


The Great British Bake Off

Channel 4

A new batch of bakers enter the famous white tent to be judged by Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith. Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond return as hosts.



Gogglebox

Channel 4

From Saturday night entertainment juggernauts to the week’s big soap storylines, from hard hitting documentary series to gritty drama, the Gogglebox households offer sharp, insightful, passionate and sometimes emotional critiques of the week’s popular and topical TV shows, sparking debates and giving the audience the chance to share those ‘we said that!’ moments.


Married At First Sight UK

As always, there’ll be the usual stunning wedding ceremonies and sun-soaked honeymoons as the couples all enter into this life changing experiment. They’ll move in together, attend dramatic dinner parties and reunite at commitment ceremonies where every marriage is put under the microscope and scrutinised by our relationship experts.


The Teacher

Channel 5

The Teacher series 2 follows the story of Dani, a teacher who loves her job. She’s a mentor and inspiration to her students, but what she lacks is a properly functioning marriage with real intimacy and mutual desire. This leads her into an impulsive affair with a fellow colleague that at first answers all her needs, but soon spirals out of control.



The Wives

Channel 5

The Wives is a six-part mystery drama that follows the unravelling of one family in a summer that changes all their lives. One year ago, Annabelle Morgan disappeared while on holiday in Malta, leaving behind her husband Charlie and daughter, Sky. The police concluded that she must have fallen to her death from the perilous cliff edge where they found her phone.


All Creatures Great & Small

Channel 5

It is Spring 1941 and we return to Darrowby to find young baby Jimmy keeping our favourite Skeldale House family on their toes. Helen is getting the hang of motherhood with James away at RAF Abingdon, Mrs Hall and Siegfried are enjoying having a little one around, and Carmody is now part of the furniture.
