The Honesty Box

Hosted by Vicky Pattison and Lucinda Light, the series brings a cast of singles together in Truetopia, a sunny and romantic paradise where truth and honesty reign supreme and there is just one rule: Do Not Lie. 


Ready to try a new approach, each single has signed up to this new radical dating experiment knowing they will be tested, in the hope it will lead to true love. To encourage full transparency in their new relationships there is a potential prize fund of £100,000 up for grabs, but only if the Truetopians choose to be open and completely honest about their true feelings.



Genius Game

 BAFTA and Emmy Award-winning actor David Tennant is inviting the country’s most brilliant minds to take part in the ultimate TV challenge. Genius Game is a brand-new reality game show that will see strategically minded players, chosen not just for their high intellectual prowess but also their social IQ, face the ultimate battle of survival.


To win, contestants will participate in a host of never-before-seen games all designed to not only test their intellectual acumen, but also to encourage them to carefully and creatively use the art of manipulation to outfox their opponents and win a cash prize


Suspect: The Shooting Of Jean Charles De Menezes

Wednesday, Disney+

Drama which focuses on the events surrounding the tragic killing of innocent Brazilian Jean Charles de Menezes (Edison Alcaide), after he is mistaken for a terrorist.  Told from multiple perspectives of those involved, it examines how memory - both accurate and distorted - can be turned into fact and shape our understanding of the truth.



The trailer takes us back almost twenty years, as London reels from the devastating suicide bomb attacks of 7 July 2005. Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair (Conleth Hill) launches a large-scale counter terrorism operation to prevent further attacks with Assistant Commissioner Andy Hayman (Max Beesley) leading the investigation into the bombings. Unbeknownst to them, another terrorist cell plots an assault that could equal the devastation of 7/7. 


Cheat: Unfinished Business

Little Alex Horne has polished and preened another version of Taskmaster Greg Davies’s regal head cast in pure gold in readiness for a brand-new series, while Greg Davies is, as usual, at the centre of it all, administering points and astute feedback as he welcomes five new comics into his world of misrule.


Man Like Mobeen

Thursday, BBC Three

Guz Khan returns to the series once more as the notorious lead character Mobeen. Viewers were left reeling by the series four finale cliff-hanger, leaving fans to ponder the fate of our haphazard Mobeen. Mobeen’s plan to get to Aqsa goes wrong, but before he can accept Uncle Shady’s drastic solution, a familiar face shows up with an offer of their own.


Malpractice

Sunday, ITV1

 When on-call psych consultant Dr James Ford (Tom Hughes) finds himself caught between an anxious new mother’s postnatal check-up and the sectioning of a psychotic patient, no-one can predict the tragic outcome.



Dr Norma Callahan (Helen Behan) and Dr George Adjei (Jordan Kouamé) of the Medical Investigation Unit are called in to investigate Dr Ford’s actions - his personal life is messy and his colleagues may find him arrogant, but Dr Ford appears committed to his vulnerable patients.
