The story of a brutal premeditated knife and gun attack on the doorstep of a man's house in Luton, where the police fight against the odds to identify those responsible.

A teaser shares: "A group of attackers have used the cover of darkness to approach the man outside his house. They shoot him three times and hack at him with a machete before fleeing the scene and burning their getaway car.

Remarkably, the target of the attack has survived. Detectives from Bedfordshire Police's Major Crime Unit launch an attempted murder investigation but there are no witnesses, the victim is in hospital unable to talk to them and his family are terrified.

With little evidence to go on, police hope that a bulky gold chain with a Tasmanian devil will prove a vital clue to what lay behind the crime and who's responsible.

Featuring unprecedented access to a live investigation, cameras follow every twist and turn as detectives decide to launch a series of armed raids across Luton to arrest potential suspects."
