Digging For Britain | Series 11 Preview (BBC Two)
Professor Alice Roberts is joined by a new team of experts who will help to dig deeper in a bid to reveal the story behind the finds.

The most exciting finds are brought into Alice’s new Digging Tent for further investigation and analysis to give insight into discoveries that span over 10,000 years of British history.
E1: Digs in northern Britain reveal a Roman emperor’s lost bathhouse, the sunken treasures of medieval pilgrims and a formidable fortress perched on top of a Scottish mountain.
E2: In central England, an RAF airbase with a Roman past, a forgotten medieval nunnery, a gold pendant from a 7th-century grave and a pub with a very long history of hospitality.
E3: In the west of Britain, there's a rare medieval cemetery, a disappearing Mesolithic landscape, a mysterious Iron Age burial and the ruins of a Gothic masterpiece.
Digging For Britain airs Tuesday 2nd January at 8pm on BBC Two.
