Eggheads | Series 3 Preview (Channel 5)

TV’s most formidable quiz team, the Eggheads, are back for a third series on Channel 5.

Hosted by Jeremy Vine and made by 12 Yard Productions, the new series of Eggheads will comprise of 55 x 30’ civilian episodes and 5 Celebrity Eggheads specials.

The series will see challengers take on the renowned quizzing goliaths, across a series of hard hitting, high-brow general knowledge question rounds. If the Eggheads win, the prize fund continues to roll over until they can be beaten.

Jeremy Vine says: “I'm thrilled the Eggheads are back with the most fiendish quiz on TV. Would be challengers will need nerves of steel to defeat the Eggs, we can’t wait to crack on with the new series!”

Trying to topple the Eggheads on Monday are the Allotment Boys from Essex. This team of green-fingered friends enjoy spending their spare time at the allotment they share in Braintree.

Eggheads returns Monday 10th October on Channel 5.
