For The Love Of Dogs with Alison Hammond | Series 2 Preview (ITV1)

The presenter is set to help a new bunch of furry friends search for a loving home as she heads to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home for a second series of the programme, which has inspired countless animal lovers to adopt a pet.

The series will tell the stories of some of the latest arrivals and Alison will be on hand to get stuck in with the walking, feeding and training as she helps the expert staff and volunteers take care of the animals as they continue their rescue journey.

The last series saw Alison meet strays like three-month-old lurcher Poppet, who she helped nurse back to health after he underwent specialist treatment from Battersea’s vets for his back legs.

Alison said: ‘I’m privileged once again to be a part of this wonderful series, sharing stories of beautiful and loving dogs as they try and find their forever home. Each story has a place in my heart and I can’t wait to get stuck in and continue to show people the brilliant work and support Battersea provides’.
