GLADIATORS TONIGHT: FIRST LOOK AT THIS WEEK'S EPISODE, CONTENDERS AND CHALLENGES

Gladiators, the most exciting and iconic sports entertainment show, continues on BBC One for a second series after the success of the first series which quickly gripped the nation and consolidated to near 10 million viewers.

Once again hosted by father and son duo Bradley and Barney Walsh, the show will see the Gladiators competing against a brave set of contenders in the ultimate test of speed and strength. They will take part in a series of brand-new games alongside classic challenges including fan-favourite The Eliminator.

Gladiators ready! Bradley and Barney Walsh host the first of the semi-finals as four determined Contenders take on the superhuman Gladiators in five brutal events before going head-to-head in the gruelling Eliminator. Who has the will and the skill to conquer the infamous Travelator and win a coveted place in the grand final?

New Gladiator, Cyclone, doesn’t hide her frustration in the locker room, an incredible performance in Powerball sets an unbelievable, all-time high score, and Viper takes his anger out on an unsuspecting crowd member’s poster.
