Apocalypse Slough: A Murder They Hope Mystery | Preview (Gold)

Johnny Vegas and Sian Gibson return as Terry and Gemma Bremmer alongside Sarah Hadland (as Gemma’s wannabe influencer sister, Monica) in a new Murder, They Hope special.

Guest stars in the special include Sanjeev Bhaskar, Shaun Williamson and Annette Badland. Apocalypse Slough: A Murder, They Hope Mystery sees Gemma be recruited by the SCA (Serious Crimes Agency).

This is a dream come true for Gemma, finally becoming what she’s always wanted to be: an official, ball busting, kick ass, specially trained investigator. While Gemma is delighted, sadly the SCA don't want Terry because of his criminal past. With this new strain on their relationship, they are lured into solving a curious double murder at a local rugby club.

The members of the rugby club each seem to have dark and disturbing behaviours of their own, all of which warrant investigating. Even more bizarrely, the dead bodies all bear the same strange symbol somewhere about their person. Is this a gentleman murderer? Leaving a calling card of some kind?

In the meantime, a camouflaged figure in a mysterious bunker keeps calling Gemma... who could they be? If she doesn’t hurry up and figure it out it could be over for everyone, herself & Terry included.
