The Chase: Celebrity Christmas Special 1 | Preview (ITV1)

Two new Christmas episodes will each see four celebrities take on the Chasers, who are traditionally in fancy dress, with the aim of winning thousands of pounds for their chosen charities.

Hosted by Bradley Walsh, the famous contestants must answer general knowledge questions and play their tactics right in order to get themselves into the Final Chase, where they could win a cash pot worth thousands for their charities.

In a Christmas special episode of The Celebrity Chase, McFly's Harry Judd, Actress Angela Griffin, Professional Dancer Kai Widdrington and Actor and Comedian Shane Richie take on one Britain's finest quizzing brains, hoping to win money for their chosen charities.

The six chasers are Mark Labbett (The Beast), Shaun Wallace (The Black Destroyer), Anne Hegerty (The Governess), Paul Sinha (The Sinnerman), Jenny Ryan (The Vixen), and Darragh Ennis (The Menace).

The Chase recently marked its 15th anniversary with a special episode as 'Double Trouble', which saw the original two Chasers Mark Labbett and Shaun Wallace take on the team of four.

Beat The Chasers is also due to return for a brand new series. Recorded in Spring 2023 and kept on the shelf, no return date has been announced by ITV. New episodes of The Chase Celebrity Special will continue to air on ITV1 and ITVX across the year.
