Uncanny | Series 2 Preview (BBC Two)
Danny Robins investigates real-life stories of seemingly paranormal encounters.
Uncanny will feature real-life stories of supernatural encounters told by the people they happened to - experiences that seem to defy logical explanation. The programme will feature analysis from experts, as well as investigations into possible answers.
Played almost 5 million times on BBC Sounds and with 3 million downloads on other platforms globally, the Uncanny podcast has proven a hit with both sceptics and believers alike - now the TV version is about to ignite the debate in living rooms across the land.
The visualised podcast, made by Uncanny Media, Bafflegab and CC Lab, will air on BBC Two immediately after the TV episode, bringing fans a frightening Friday night full of 90 minutes of Uncanny. An extended version of the podcast will then be available on BBC Sounds.
Celebrity ghost watchers including the likes of Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Meera Syal and Charlie Cooper as well as Uncanny regular experts such as Evelyn Hollow will join Danny alongside the lead witness at the heart of each story.
Uncanny: Post Mortem follows in the footsteps of the hugely successful Traitors: Uncloaked, presented by Ed Gamble, giving listeners exclusive behind the scenes access to The Traitors.
Uncanny returns Friday 31st January on BBC Two.
