PROFESSOR T RENEWED FOR FOURTH SERIES AHEAD OF THIRD SERIES LATER THIS YEAR

ITV have commissioned a fourth series of Professor T, starring Ben Miller. Alongside Miller, the third and fourth series will also see the return of Frances de la Tour and Juliet Stevenson.

Set against the stunning backdrop of one of the world’s most prestigious educational institutions, Cambridge University, the third season will see Professor T banged up in prison and with his career on the line he is forced to make a momentous decision.

The formidable duo of Jasper’s mother Adelaide (Frances de La Tour) and his therapist Dr Helena (Juliet Stevenson) will be on hand to offer their own unique brand of support.

The fourth series begins six months after the "shocking" Series 3 finale, and the team must "overcome their grief to tackle a dangerous crime wave." Meanwhile, DI Maiya Goswami (Sunetra Sarker) takes charge of the police force with DS Dan Winters (White) fiercely at her side.
