RATINGS: I'M A CELEBRITY RETURNS WITH PEAK OF EIGHT MILLION VIEWERS

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! achieved the biggest ITV overnight audience of the year outside of sport, as it returned with an impressive peak audience of 8 million viewers last night.

From 9pm - 10:45pm, the opener averaged 7 million viewers across all devices. The show also achieved a massive 82% share of 16-34 year old viewing, with 1.3 million viewers in this demographic, making it the biggest audience of the year on any channel outside of football, for coveted younger audiences. 

It was also the biggest entertainment show on TV last night for younger audiences by a big margin - with a million more viewers under 35 than the next nearest programme. 

The brand new I’m A Celebrity Unpacked show launched on ITV2 with a peak of 617k viewers, the biggest ITV2 launch outside of Love Island and Big Brother.
