As you would expect, the Euros continued to dominate the TV ratings this week. The most watched match was England vs Switzerland with 11,204,000. Spain vs Germany was watched by 6,459,000 and Portugal vs Slovenia with 6,416,000.
It was also a big week for Tennis with the first week of Wimbledon launching on BBC One. The most watched slot was Thursday evening with 3,245,000 on BBC One, followed by 2,662,000 on Sunday.
Outside of football, The Great British Sewing Bee was the most-watched show of the week attracting 4,134,000 on Wednesday night for BBC One. Celebrity Gogglebox continued with 2,342,000 and Love Island hit a high on Sunday night with 2,594,000.
In drama, The Turkish Detective launched with 3,437,000 on Sunday night on BBC Two. New Channel 5 drama The Night Caller launched with 2,181,000 and Douglas Is Cancelled continued with 2,512,000.
In soaps, Emmerdale hit a high on Wednesday night with 3,927,000, Coronation Street with 3,880,000 on Friday night and EastEnders with 2,810,000 on BBC Two on Wednesday night.
Whilst a full breakdown for the Election night coverage isn't available, an average audience of 3,014,000 watched the BBC's coverage on BBC One between 9:55pm and 2am on Thursday night.
