The final of Strictly Come Dancing was watched by 9,888,000 on BBC One. It was followed on BBC One by Michael McIntyre's 25 Years Of Stand-Up special with 4,412,000. The Royal Variety Performance was hosted by Amanda Holden alongside Alan Carr and was watched by 3,498,000 on Sunday night.

Elsewhere in entertainment, The 1% Club aired rand new episodes across the week, starting on Monday night with 4,052,000. The annual I'm A Celebrity Coming Out show was watched by 5,106,000 on Friday night, with 4,149,000 watching Have I Got News For You opposite on BBC One.

In drama, Shetland topped the week with 5,310,000. On Saturday night, the final episode of Moonflower Murders was watched by 3,929,000. Wolf Hall: The Mirror And The Light was watched by 3,294,000 on Sunday night. Return To Paradise continued on BBC One with 3,858,000.

In soaps, Coronation Street and Emmerdale both topped the week on Monday night with 4,572,000 and 4,023,000 respectively.

Elsewhere, MasterChef: The Professionals started the week with 3,036,000 on Monday night, Gogglebox was watched by 2,788,000 and Only Connect by 2,924,000 on BBC Two.
