RATINGS REPORT: 09-15 SEPTEMBER 2024

Strictly Come Dancing's launch show topped the week with 6,787,000 viewers on Saturday night. New BBC drama Nightstopper pushed Celebrity Race Across The World into third place with 5,876,000 and 5,396,000 respectively.



In drama, Grace continued with 4,014,000 viewers on Sunday night. On Monday night, James Graham's Sherwood concluded with 3,582,000 viewers on BBC One. Channel 5 launched the second series of The Teacher to 2,623,000 on Monday night.


Joel Dommett hosted the National Television Awards on ITV which were watched by 2,981,000. Gogglebox returned for a new series with 3,010,000 on Channel 4. The Grand Tour's final episode landed on Prime Video with 3,315,600 watching in its first week.



In non-scripted, 24 Hours In Police Custody returned with 2,593,000, The Last Night Of The Proms were watched by 2,613,000, Who Do You Think You Are with 3,170,000 and Celebrity MasterChef opened the week with 2,829,000.


In soaps, Coronation Street topped the week with 4,395,000 on Monday night, Emmerdale achieved 4,074,000 on Thursday night and EastEnders' most watched episode was Wednesday night with 3,555,000.
