ITV thriller Protection topped the week across all channels, with 6,080,000 and 6,700,000 respectively. It was closely followed by the series finale of Death In Paradise with 5,923,000 and the return of spin-off Beyond Paradise with 5,507,000.

Elsewhere in drama, This City Is Ours continued with 3,347,000 on Monday night, Ten Pound Poms with 3,256,000 on Sunday night and A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story concluded with 2,419,000 on ITV on Wednesday night.

In entertainment, Britain's Got Talent topped the week with 5,490,000, with The Apprentice not far behind on 5,455,000. The 1% Club continued with 4,561,000 and Gogglebox with 2,974,000. Prime Video's Last One Laughing UK concluded with 3,118,600 and 3,094,200 for its final two episodes respectively.

In soaps, Coronation Street's most watched episode was Friday night with 4,419,000, EastEnders beat Emmerdale into second place with 3,909,000 on Monday night, with Emmerdale's highest episode on Wednesday night with 3,855,000. Casualty continued with 2,958,000 on Saturday night.
