The second series of hit ITV comedy G'Wed will get its first ITV1 showing on Easter Monday at 10pm following that night's episode of Celebrity Big Brother. The show was recommissioned for a third series last year, which is due to commence filming in June.

Set in Liverpool and filmed entirely on location, G’wed features an exciting cast of fresh, young local talent alongside established actors. G’wed isn’t shy of tackling big issues like grief, sex, diversity and class differences, all with a wicked sense of humour.

Reece (Dylan Thomas-Smith), Christopher (Jake Kenny-Byrne), Connor (Max Ainsworth), Ted (Dominic Murphy), Mo (Zak Douglas), Aimee (Amber Harrison) and Mia-Louise (Gemma Barraclough) are back to portray the lovable scousers as we explore the themes of consent, age gap relationships and the acceptable way to make money while still at school.

The second series continues to tackle life’s big themes with a funny lens whilst keeping Liverpool’s distinctive voice and spirit at its heart. Expect more sharp wit as our Scouse gang navigate new challenges, from age gap relationships and consent to acceptable ways to make money while still in school.

The Vivienne has a cameo appearance in episode 1 of the new series that sees them play a Liverpool nightclub owner who spots Ted's comedic potential and offers him a spot comparing their drag night.  This episode was filmed last Summer and is dedicated to The Vivienne and will air with the blessing of the family honouring their special talent.

G'Wed is available now on ITVX.
